qualified members. Because EGCU is owned by our members, the terms and
rates are far better than other financing options including VISA,
vehicle, real estate and personal loans. Loan approvals, amounts and
terms are based on credit and employment histories.

Equity Saver Advantage at EGCU - Members with
bi-weekly payroll deposits may split a monthly payment in half and apply the
half-payment to the loan balance on the day of their deposit. The
more frequent principal reductions and the two extra half-payments (26
in all) cuts interest and reduces the term on loans. This service is
provided at no extra charge and can save a member hundreds of
dollars over the term of a loan.
New and Used Auto Loans
EGCU offers new and used auto loans with fixed-rates and terms up to
72 months on new autos and 60 months on used autos.
Visa Credit Cards
EGCU offers low rate Visa Platinum and Classic Credit Cards
exclusively for our members. Credit limits range from
$500.00 - $10,000.00 with an 9.95% - 19.95% annual percentage rate (APR)
and a minimum payment that is 2% to 3% of your balance. Every
Visa account includes Identity-Theft Protection, FREE 24-hour online
access, On-line Bill Pay and Extra Online Security Protection with
Verified by VISA. ScoreCard Reward points and Product Protection are added
features of our Platinum Credit Card.
Personal Loans/Line of Credit
You have your choice of a personal loan or our Line of Credit (LOC).
Our personal loans offer low fixed rates and fixed terms. Our LOC
allows you to advance on a predetermined credit limit without
reapplying. You can do advances in person, or by accessing your
account online and depositing the advance directly to your EGCU
checking account.
Boats/Motorcycle/RV Loans
For outdoor enthusiasts, EGCU offers great fixed rates and generous
terms on boats, motorcycles, and recreational vehicles.
Share Certificate Secured Loans
EGCU offers loans secured by the funds you have on deposit in a
share certificate. This is a good option for members
trying to establish credit. It also allows members with funds on
deposit to borrow instead of cashing
in their share certificate. You continue to earn dividends on the funds you
have deposited even though they are pledged as collateral on your
loan.
Home Equity Loan
EGCU's Second Mortgage program allows you to get money from your home
to be used for any reason - college expense, boat or car purchase,
debt consolidation, home improvements or your dream vacation. You
may be eligible to borrow up to 80% of your home's appraised value,
less your first mortgage balance. This is a fixed rate second
mortgage with terms up to 10 years. Home Equity Lines of Credit are
available with low rates tied to the current Wall Street Prime Rate.
There are no fees on either product when terms last beyond 36
months.
K-12 Tuition Loan - NEW!
EGCU is proud to offer K-12 Tuition loans to assist with the cost of student
education. We make it convenient for parents with three branch
locations near local private schools. With no application fees
and low financing, our product compares favorably with other
financial institutions.
